Our History

Balao Farms was established with a vision to develop a modern, integrated, and sustainable agricultural operation where livestock and poultry production work together with renewable energy and responsible waste management.

Over the years, the farm has expanded its operations to integrate poultry hatchery, broiler production, and swine farming. Today, Balao Farms has the capacity to produce approximately 12 million chicks per year, raise around 10 million broiler birds annually, and produce approximately 50,000 fattening hogs each year.

Balao Farms — Growing Today. Sustainable Tomorrow.

A Growing Commitment to Sustainability

A key part of Balao Farms’ development is its commitment to sustainability. Organic waste generated from its poultry and swine operations is utilized through a biogas system that converts farm waste into renewable energy. This is complemented by a solar power system, allowing the farm to incorporate multiple renewable energy sources into its operations.

Through the integration of agriculture, waste-to-energy technology, and solar power, Balao Farms continues to demonstrate how large-scale agricultural production can operate alongside responsible resource management and sustainable energy solutions.

From livestock and poultry production to renewable energy, Balao Farms continues to grow toward a more productive and sustainable future.
