At the heart of Balao Farms’ poultry operations is our modern broiler hatchery, designed to provide a reliable supply of quality day-old chicks for our growing operations.
With a production capacity of approximately 1 million chicks per month, our hatchery combines modern incubation technology, carefully controlled environmental conditions, disciplined biosecurity and continuous quality monitoring.
Every stage — from egg handling and incubation to hatching and chick preparation — is managed with one objective: healthy, uniform chicks ready for a strong start.

Biosecurity is fundamental to our hatchery operation. Controlled access, sanitation procedures, hygienic working areas and carefully managed movement of people, eggs, equipment and chicks help protect the health of every flock entering our production system.
Our hatchery is supported by approximately 750 kW of solar generation capacity, complemented by a battery energy storage system.
